Job Description
Advanced Orthodontics in Wisconsin is looking to hire a new Orthodontic Dental Assistant! We are a private practice with three beautiful locations in Madison, Waunakee, and Dodgeville.
Position is full-time and offers stability and excellent benefits. We are looking for someone that equally feels they can offer the same professionalism to our practice and patients as they desire at their own dental practice as a patient. Prior orthodontic assisting experience is preferred but willing to train the right person.

Estimated Starting Pay Scale: Based on overall chair side experience:
$20-30/hr. (Rate is based upon overall orthodontic experience)

Position Schedule: (Full-time - Must be able to work all days and hours listed below including a 3 locations)
Monday 8am-5pm (Madison)
Tuesday 8am-5pm (Waunakee)
Wednesday 8am-5pm (Dodgeville)
Thursday 8am-5pm (Madison)
Friday 8am-12pm (Madison)
Our ideal candidate would possess the following:
No experience required but preferred. We are willing to train the right person that has a drive to build their career and grow within orthodontics.
Fast learner and not afraid to jump in to help where needed
Would love for this person to interact with current employees with lunches and after work activities. So definitely a team driven person!
Must be professional and presentable.
Excellent transportation
We prefer someone that is committed to excellent verifiable long-term past employment.
Outgoing and personable - a people person that likes to laugh and have fun
Reliable and punctual (Need someone that will be able to work ALL needed days and times listed above.)
Team oriented but also able to work independently.
Adaptable and trainable
Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Able to work with all types of personality types.
Superior communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Must be excited about innovative technology including iTero.
A positive attitude and an enthusiastic sense of humor necessary!
Focus Ortho management and Dolphin Imaging a plus but NOT required.
Orthodontic Dental Assistant duties but not limited to:
Chairside assisting
Direct bonding
iTero scanning
Sterilization (PPE)
Arch wire changes
Fitting bands
Placing Invisalign attachments
Mixing cement
Packing equipment for travel
Charting using Focus Ortho
X-rays
Educating for all sorts of procedures
Any/all other duties asked by doctor or management.
