Orthodontic Assistant

Overview:

As a well-established private orthodontic practice, we're looking for a high-energy, EXPERIENCED ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT to join and expand our current team.

Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient appointments
Take diagnostic records including photographs, impressions, and radiographs
Sterilize and maintain instruments in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards
Ensure patient comfort and deliver an excellent clinical experience
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes and charting
Monitor inventory and clinical supplies as needed
Support overall clinical flow and maintain an efficient schedule
Requirements:
MUST have at least 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience, orthodontics strongly preferred over dental
Proficient Experience with ULab Preferred
Dental Assisting Certificate required
Orthodontic Expanded Functions Certification strongly preferred
Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic personality
Excellent punctuality, communication and organizational skills
