Orthodontic Assistant (RDA or OA) - Willing to train all needed ortho skills!

We would highly prefer some prior orthodontic chair side assisting experience but are open to training an RDA or OA that is newer and has the desire to grow within the orthodontic field. Responsibilities:
Sterilization, chair side assisting, untie/retie patients, try-in appliances, mix cement, prepare teeth for bonding, polishing teeth, placing brackets, setup and break down chairs, maintain all standards of infection control, restocking, ordering, Alginate impressions, pouring up models, trimming models, making vacuum form retainers, taking Pano and Ceph x-rays, adequate abilities with computers and a plus if candidate has experience with tops ortho software. General maintenance and cleaning of the office although we have weekly professional cleaners.

Experience:
Prior orthodontic chair-side experience preferred but WILLING TO TRAIN the right person with the needed licensing and outstanding personality along with the eagerness to learn and grow while maintaining long-term employment.

Current California RDA or OAP license required
Current X-ray license
CPR certificate

Pay scale: (Competitive compensation will be commensurate based on prior orthodontic experience and the level of training needed.)
$25-$40/hr.

Monday 8:30am-5:30pm
Tuesday 8am-5pm
Wednesday 8am-5pm
Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-1pm (twice a month)
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
