About the Position:
The Orthodontist & Co., a premier luxury orthodontic practice in Long Island City, is offering a unique clinical opportunity tailored for internationally trained dentists (BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent) looking to build a rewarding, long-term U.S. clinical career. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented professional eager to master our practice-specific digital workflows, learn our clinical protocols, and grow alongside our team.
Why This Role is Ideal:
· Structured Career Growth: Build a stable, long-term professional pathway in high-end private practice with ongoing mentorship and clear opportunities for advancement.

· Comprehensive Training & Mentorship: We will train you directly in our practice’s specific clinical philosophy, standardized systems, and principles of biomechanics from day one—prior U.S. dental experience is not required.
What You’ll Do:
· Capture precise, high-quality intraoral and extraoral photo series.
· Perform high-accuracy 3D intraoral scans (iTero) and 3D imaging (iCAT).
· Oversee clinical sterilization, infection control, and daily clinic organization.
· Fabricate custom retainers utilizing cutting-edge 3D printing technology and lab equipment.
· Support chairside orthodontic workflows and patient preparation with precision and consistency.
· Fast-track your clinical progression toward a more senior role, where you will directly contribute to comprehensive orthodontic procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
· Career Mindset: A strong interest in building a stable, long-term career within clinical dentistry and orthodontics.
· Communication & Demeanor: Exceptional interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and a polished, professional presence suited for a high-end practice.
· Team-First Mentality: Ability to thrive in an energetic, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative team environment.
· No prior U.S. orthodontic assisting experience required — we provide complete, comprehensive training on our practice protocols and systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Training Period (First 90 Days): $18.00 / hour
· Post-Training Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 / hour (based on performance, skill mastery, and clinical efficiency)
· Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday
