Job Description
Orthodontic Assistant — Private Orthodontic Practice
Location: Escondido, CA
Part-Time | 24–32 hours per week | Monday–Wednesday required
We’re looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at a well-established private orthodontic practice in Escondido.
More than anything, we’re looking for the right person and the right long-term fit. We are a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together, takes pride in what we do, and believes that a positive office culture makes a huge difference—for our team, our patients, and their families.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
We’ve worked hard to create an office where people feel valued, supported, and part of a team. We truly have a family-like culture, and we’re looking for someone who wants to become part of that—not simply someone looking for their next job.
You can expect:
A warm, positive, and team-oriented environment
Good work life balance with good hours and no weekends!
A supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together
A private orthodontic practice with a strong reputation and high standards
A patient-focused approach where relationships matter
An organized, professional, and enjoyable workplace
Opportunities to learn, grow, and become an important part of the team
A team that values reliability, kindness, communication, and a great attitude
The potential for a long-term position for the right person
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is an experienced orthodontic assistant who is confident in a clinical setting and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, but we are willing to train for the right candidate!
We would especially love to hear from candidates who are:
Experienced in orthodontics
An RDA and/or experienced Orthodontic Assistant (OA)
Comfortable working with patients of all ages, particularly children and teens
Warm, friendly, and genuinely patient-focused
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
A strong communicator who works well with others
Positive, personable, and able to contribute to a great team atmosphere
Detail-oriented and committed to doing things the right way
Looking for a long-term home, rather than a short-term position
Schedule
We are looking for approximately 24–32 hours per week, with Monday–Wednesday required.
Additional hours/days may be available depending on the candidate and office needs.
Most Importantly…
We believe that the right team makes a great office.
We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled clinically, but who will care about our patients, support their teammates, and genuinely enjoy being part of our office family. If you’re looking for a place where you can build relationships, feel appreciated, and become part of a team for the long term, we’d love to hear from you.
If this sounds like the kind of environment you’ve been looking for, please submit your resume and a brief introduction telling us a little about yourself and your orthodontic experience.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Benefits:
401(k)
Paid time off
