Orthodontic Dental Assistant

TMJ Sleep Airway Orthodontics is a premier specialty practice dedicated to airway-focused orthodontics, sleep-disordered breathing, TMJ treatment, and advanced orthodontic care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
Assist the doctor during orthodontic procedures
Prepare patients for treatment and provide exceptional chairside care
Take digital impressions, intraoral scans, and diagnostic photographs
Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT imaging (where permitted)
Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulations
Educate patients on appliance care, oral hygiene, and treatment expectations
Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms
Maintain accurate clinical records
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to create an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a strong team mentality
Comfortable learning new technology and treatment techniques
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Passion for providing exceptional patient care
Experience with the following is a plus:
Invisalign
Traditional braces
Palate expanders
Airway-focused orthodontics
iTero digital scanning
CBCT imaging
Cloud 9 Orthodontic Software

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
