Job Description
As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant at Leaside Orthodontic Centre, you'll be responsible for assisting in a variety of orthodontic procedures. This includes but is not limited to:
1. Digital Imaging: Utilizing cutting-edge technology for digital impressions and X-rays to aid in treatment planning and progress monitoring.
2. Bracket Placement and Adjustments: Assisting the orthodontist in the precise placement of braces, as well as periodic adjustments to ensure proper tooth alignment.
3. Clear Aligner (Such as Invisalign®) Maintenance: Managing cases, including monitoring patient compliance, providing guidance, and addressing any issues that may arise.
4. Educating Patients: Offering detailed oral hygiene instructions, dietary advice, and tips for maintaining optimal oral health throughout the orthodontic treatment process.
5. Records Maintenance: Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes to support comprehensive orthodontic care.

Requirements:
- Valid Dental Assistant Level II License in Ontario
- Up-to Date CPR certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
Experience:
Orthodontic Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Certified Dental Assistant Level II (required)
