Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, positive, and passionate about delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
Change wires, ligate brackets, place/remove elastics
Deliver appliances
Take intraoral photos, xrays and 3D scans
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Educate patients and parents on orthodontic care and instructions
Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
Support efficient patient flow and chairside excellence
Qualifications
At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (required)
Dental assisting certification (or equivalent experience)
Xray Certification
Coronal Polishing
Familiarity with orthodontic instruments and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and professionalism
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
