Orthodontic Assistant needed!
Join our dynamic dental team as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, where your expertise will help transform smiles and boost confidence! In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Experience in multi-specialty practices places you at the top of the candidate. Bi-lingual? Even better. These skills and experience are not required and we are open to all candidates.

Duties
Assist the orthodontist with various procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for patient appointments, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging, including 3D scans, while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols..
Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices tailored for pediatric dentistry and general dentistry patients.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort during procedures to ensure safety and well-being throughout treatment.
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing medical records efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience working as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting, with a strong background in orthodontics preferred.
Hands-on experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging, and 3D scanners used in modern orthodontic practices.
Compliance with OSHA, Infection Control and HiPAA regulations
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
