Orthodontic Dental Assistant RDA

The Orthospaceship is a boutique orthodontic practice on Sunset Blvd. We pair clinical excellence with a warm, beautifully designed patient experience, and we’re growing. We’re looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant who takes pride in their work and thrives on a close-knit team.

What you’ll do
Assist chairside through bonding, debanding, adjustments, and records
Take and process diagnostic records: photos, scans (iTero/intraoral), and X-rays
Place and remove archwires, ligatures, and appliances per the doctor’s direction
Prep and break down operatories; maintain sterilization and infection control
Educate patients on appliance care, hygiene, and aligner wear
Keep accurate clinical notes in Dolphin
What we’re looking for
Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience
Current California RDA or DA registration
Current BLS/CPR certification
Current X-ray/radiography certification
Strong attention to detail and genuine warmth with patients
Reliability and a team-first mindset
