POSITION SUMMARY
We are a rapidly growing, upbeat, Orthodontic office in Reno, looking for a long-term Orthodontic Assistant who is dedicated to their work and is bilingual in both Spanish and English.

Previous orthodontic experience is preferred, but prior experience as a dental assistant is valued. We will train on all orthodontic procedures and want the ideal candidate with a passion for learning.

To be successful in this role, you should be a good communicator, detail-oriented, have a strong desire to serve and take care of patients, and enjoy working in a team environment. We are looking for a self-motivated and driven assistant who thrives in a culture of immediate feedback and progressive coaching. You must also be organized, tech savvy, and adaptable. Job Duties:
Assist the orthodontist in providing patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, taking X-rays and records, adjusting braces and appliances, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care, sterilize instruments, set up treatment rooms, and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Support the orthodontist during chairside procedures and provide exceptional patient service.

Work closely with clinic team to efficiently administer outstanding care to all patients in the clinic. Provide support with a positive team mentality, ensuring all clinic tasks are completed amongst all assistants.

Be confident communicating orthodontic procedures in both English and Spanish.

Salary range: Hourly: $20-$26 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for upward advancement, growth, and increased salary.

Hours:
Full-time (approximately 36-40hrs/week)
Monday through Thursday 8:30a-5:30p, 2 Friday's a month 8:15a-3:30p(slight variances dependent on patient and clinic necessity).
