Experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
· Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures.
· Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for patient care.
· Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist, including brackets, wires, bands, and ligatures.
· Take high-quality digital radiographs, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs.
· Perform digital scans.
· Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations.
· Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection control standards as needed
· Accurately document treatment notes and maintain electronic patient records.
· Support a positive, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment.
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience required.
· X-ray certification required.
· CPR certification required.
· Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanning technology preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
· Friendly, dependable, and professional with a positive attitude.
· Passion for providing outstanding patient care and building lasting relationships with patients and families.
