Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, orthodontic procedures, records and maintaining positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
Assist orthodontists during various procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile, educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort during procedures, demonstrating excellent knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Maintain accurate dental documentation, including medical coding and records management in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support the dental reception area by greeting patients, answering questions about treatment plans, and managing appointment schedules.
Skills
Orthodontic or Dental assisting experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in fast-passed environment.
Pay: $25.72 - $30.98 per hour
