Job Description

This is not a typical front desk or receptionist position.

At our orthodontic practice, the front desk is the first impression, the voice of our brand, and the heartbeat of the patient experience.

We are looking for someone who naturally:
Makes people feel comfortable within seconds
Listens with empathy and responds with care
Treats every interaction like it matters (because it does)
If you see yourself as more of a patient concierge than a “receptionist,” keep reading.

What You’ll Do
Be the first point of contact for new and existing patients (phone, in-person, and digital communication)
Create a warm, welcoming, and organized experience from the moment someone reaches out
Guide patients through scheduling, questions, and next steps with clarity and confidence
Support a smooth, efficient flow of the front office
Maintain accurate records and handle administrative tasks with strong attention to detail
Collaborate with a team that values service, consistency, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
We care more about how you treat people than just what’s on your resume.

The ideal candidate:
Is naturally warm, friendly, and emotionally intelligent
Has a service-first mindset (you genuinely enjoy helping people)
Communicates clearly, confidently, and kindly
Is detail-oriented and follows through on tasks
Thrives in a team environment but takes ownership of their role
Understands that every interaction reflects the practice
Experience (Preferred, Not Everything)
1+ year in customer service, hospitality, or front desk/receptionist role (Required)
Dental or orthodontic experience preferred (but not required for the right person)
Experience with practice management software (Edge is a plus)
Why This Role is Different
You are not just answering phones—you are shaping patient experiences
You will work in a multi-doctor, team-oriented environment with strong systems and support
We value professionalism, kindness, and accountability—and we hire accordingly
Benefits
401(k)
Health insurance
Paid time off
Employee discounts
How to Apply
If you believe great service is about making people feel heard, valued, and cared for—we’d love to meet you.

Please submit your resume and a short note telling us why you believe you’d be a great fit for this role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
