Job Description
Orthodontic Receptionist -- Part Time
Monday 1-7pm
Tuesday and Friday 8-7pm
Saturday 8-2pm (2 Saturdays/month)
Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care? We are looking for a motivated and dependable Orthodontic Receptionist to join our growing team!
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with children, teens, and families, has a positive attitude, and can create a warm and welcoming experience for every patient. Orthodontic experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
What We’re Looking For
Previous dental or orthodontic front-desk experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Friendly, positive, and professional personality
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact comfortably with children, teens, parents, and adults
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software
A genuine interest in helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their orthodontic journey
What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsibilities
Greet patients and families with a warm and welcoming attitude
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
Check patients in and out and assist with appointment flow
Verify and update patient information
Coordinate treatment appointments and follow-up visits
Communicate treatment information clearly and professionally
Assist the orthodontic team with daily patient care and office needs
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date
Collect payments and assist with billing
Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive office environment
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure every patient has a comfortable experience
