Job Description
Job Summary
The Orthodontic Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive experience for patients and families from the moment they enter the office. This position serves as the first point of contact for the practice and plays an important role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring the front office operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient records, collecting payments, verifying insurance benefits, and assisting patients with questions regarding appointments and treatment. The receptionist will also communicate closely with the orthodontist, clinical team, and office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience
Experience
Previous experience as a dental receptionist in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, dental terminology, and medical documentation is essential.
Experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are required.
Office Hours (Must be available the following hours)
Mon- 8:25 am - 6:25 pm
Tues- 7:25 am - 5:25 pm
Wed- 7:25 am - 5:25 pm
** 1 week out of the month we work Wed-Fri
Wed- 8:25 am - 6:25 pm
Thurs- 7:25 am - 5:25 pm
Fri- 7:25 am - 5:25 pm
We are looking for a receptionist to work 3-4 days a week. Bilingual is preferred.
