Job Summary
Orthodontic Records Assistant (RDA)
Dental Care for Children, an established pediatric dental practice in Calgary, seeks an enthusiastic, talented individual to join our orthodontic team as the Orthodontic Records Assistant.
No experience necessary, but you must be kind, a quick learner, great with people, and have a positive attitude. A high level of customer service is absolutely essential, as are excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to work well with our other team members. We provide a comprehensive training program and are looking for a long-term team member who is eager to learn and grow with the practice.
Our ideal RDA will:
-Be warm, caring, organized, and demonstrate exceptional follow-up without having to be reminded
-Value customer service in our office and strive to surpass expectations
-Be innovative about patient experience to help the practice continue to grow and expand
-Speak to clients clearly and with respect, helping to make their interactions with our office seamless and enjoyable
-Greet and communicate with patient families to make their visits truly exceptional
-Treat each new patient as part of our office family, making them look forward to their next visit
-Have exceptional attention to detail
-Be comfortable working with computers and digital technology
-Have a professional appearance and respectful, mature demeanor
-Take initiative to solve problems when they arise
-Be a Registered Dental Assistant in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
This is a 3-4 day per week position, with the possibility for more growth and hours in the future. Daily office hours are 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends.
Compensation and benefits based on experience, ability to learn quickly, and job performance.
