We are Smile Squad Kids Dental and Orthodontics. We are an extremely fun and inviting Pediatric Dental office. While the clinic itself is unique and amazing, it’s the “Squad” that sets us apart. Each and every member of our team works hard to make even the most timid children feel warm and welcomed.
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and compassionate Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our Squad. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves working with children, enjoys building relationships with families, and excels at helping patients understand their orthodontic treatment options.
As the first point of contact for many new orthodontic patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience while guiding families through their treatment journey with confidence and care.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome new orthodontic patients and families with warmth and enthusiasm.
Conduct orthodontic consultations and help patients understand recommended treatment plans.
Clearly explain treatment options, timelines, benefits, and financial arrangements.
Answer questions and address concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Coordinate treatment acceptance and assist families in making informed decisions.
Present financing and payment options in a clear and comfortable manner.
Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Follow up with prospective patients and maintain strong communication throughout the treatment process.
Help create a fun, positive, and child-friendly atmosphere in the office.
Support scheduling and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, Dental Treatment Coordinator, or in a dental/orthodontic setting preferred.
Strong understanding of orthodontic treatment options and patient education.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for working with children and families.
Ability to explain treatment recommendations and financial information with confidence and clarity.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday's 8:30am -3:00pm.
