Job Description
First Impressions, S.C. is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Orthodontist to join our growing team. As an Orthodontist, you will diagnose, prevent, and treat dental and facial irregularities while working closely with our pediatric dentists and clinical teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans. Our flexible scheduling across multiple locations provides an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat malocclusions and dentofacial abnormalities.
Develop individualized orthodontic treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs and goals.
Provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances.
Monitor treatment progress and make adjustments as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with pediatric dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and parents about treatment options, oral hygiene, appliance care, and long-term retention.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Stay current with advancements in orthodontics through continuing education and professional development.
Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
Active state dental license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure).
Board certification or board eligibility is preferred.
Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based orthodontic care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to build trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
