Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will provide expert orthodontic care, focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of dental and facial irregularities. Your expertise will help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through personalized treatment plans and advanced orthodontic techniques. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including patient evaluation and treatment planning using dental imaging and medical records.
Develop and implement customized orthodontic treatment plans utilizing braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other appliances.
Perform routine adjustments and monitor patient progress throughout treatment duration.
Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are followed diligently.
Educate patients on oral health, orthodontic procedures, and post-treatment care to promote optimal outcomes.
Stay current with advancements in orthodontics by participating in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements
Valid dental license with specialization in orthodontics from an accredited program.
Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with a focus on orthodontic procedures.
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and documentation
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles, oral surgery procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics is preferred.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently to enhance patient comfort and treatment effectiveness.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
