Job Description
Smile Brite Orthodontics in Sachse, TX is hiring a full-time Orthodontist Assistant to join our friendly, busy dental team. We offer $20 - $24 per hour. Aside from earning great pay, you can also enjoy the following benefits:

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As an Orthodontist Assistant, you will help take care of patients by working chair-side with our orthodontist. You will do things like take orthodontic photos and x-rays, scan teeth with a 3D scanner, help with sterilization and lab work, and keep everything clean. You will place and remove arch wires, help with brackets, work with aligner attachments, and give simple instructions to patients. Sometimes, you will also help with office tasks and marketing. Our office is busy and fast-paced, but you will be part of a team that works together and supports each other.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM AN ORTHODONTIST ASSISTANT?
Schedule: You will work full-time, Monday through Friday, for 8 hours each day. All work is done at our Sachse office. No traveling between different locations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year(s) of orthodontic experience
Registered Dental Assistant in TX
Experience with bonding brackets and attachments for aligner patients
Experience with intra-oral scanning using a 3D scanner
Proficiency in orthodontic photos and x-rays
Knowledge of sterilization procedures and skill in giving orthodontic instructions
Ability to place and remove arch wires, perform reties, and work with rubber bands
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Team player with excellent communication skills
