Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will provide expert orthodontic care, focusing on diagnosing, preventing, and correcting dental and facial irregularities. Your expertise will help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Duties
Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including dental diagnosis and treatment planning using advanced medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, retainers, or other orthodontic appliances.
Perform orthodontic procedures such as fitting braces, adjusting appliances, and monitoring progress throughout treatment.
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in areas like prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, pediatrics, and anesthesiology to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic devices and overall dental health.
Adhere to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Utilize dental fabrication techniques for custom appliances and ensure quality control in all dental office procedures.
Experience
Proven experience as an Orthodontist with a strong background in general dentistry and specialized orthodontic treatments.
Proficiency with dental practice management software.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles to effectively treat young patients requiring orthodontic interventions.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients of diverse backgrounds while providing exceptional patient care.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven experience with treatment planning including complex interdisciplinary cases.
Knowledge of infection control standards and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
