Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide expert orthodontic care, focusing on the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of dental and facial irregularities. Your expertise will help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles while ensuring exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, professional environment. Duties
Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including dental diagnosis and patient evaluation using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, retainers, or other orthodontic appliances.
Perform orthodontic procedures such as fitting braces, adjusting appliances, and monitoring treatment progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatment activities in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Educate patients on oral health practices related to orthodontics, including appliance maintenance and hygiene protocols.
Ensure infection control through aseptic techniques and adhere to all safety standards during procedures.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as an Orthodontist with certification in orthodontics or specialty training in orthodontics.
Proven experience with dental office management software - Dentrix and Dexis is a plus!
Proficiency in Four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Experience with dental fabrication processes and medical imaging technology to support precise orthodontic interventions.
Excellent client communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and foster positive patient relationships.
Commitment to infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of aseptic technique during all procedures.
