Duties
Diagnose orthodontic issues through comprehensive patient assessments, including dental and medical history reviews, clinical examinations, and imaging analysis
Develop customized treatment plans utilizing the latest orthodontic techniques and appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers
Perform orthodontic procedures with precision, including adjustments, appliance placements, and modifications to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including dental extractions, oral surgery, or prosthodontics when necessary
Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatments in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and compliance
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques during all procedures
Experience
Proven experience as an Orthodontist with a strong background in general dentistry practices
Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning
Hands-on experience with four-handed dentistry to maximize efficiency during procedures
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating younger patients effectively
Familiarity with dental imaging technology and medical imaging interpretation for accurate diagnosis
Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
Understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes to ensure precise treatment delivery
