We are seeking a dynamic and skilled General Dentist with orthodontics or orthodontist experience to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology
Apply orthodontic techniques and appliances to correct malocclusions and improve dental alignment for patients of all ages.
Manage patient records accurately using electronic health record systems like Cloud9 maintaining HIPAA compliance and adhering to state healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient care quality.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment plans, and post-procedure care while ensuring clear communication of medical and dental terminology.
Skills
Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in orthodontics or specialized in orthodontics
Proficiency in dental office software such as Cloud9 or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
Knowledge of infection control protocols, medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and medical/medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance with patient privacy standards.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Strong understanding of medical records management, medical documentation standards, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
