We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our rehab clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with medical office procedures, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle appointment scheduling, inquiries, and patient communication
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Dentrix and other electronic medical records software
Verify patient insurance information and update records accurately
Collect patient information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to appointments
Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Assist with billing processes and insurance claims as needed
Support administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and managing office supplies
Qualifications
Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with patients and staff
Office experience including front desk responsibilities and multi-line phone systems management
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in healthcare administration or medical office experience is a plus
Spanish and Portuguese preferred
