Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, with efficiency and professionalism
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
Take dental X-rays, including digital imaging, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Manage medical documentation and records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems ....we will train
Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal care
Support front desk operations by assisting with dental reception duties when needed, including appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out processes
Maintain infection control standards by following proper sterilization protocols and infection prevention practices in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Skills
Proficiency with dental software systems for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to accurately document procedures
Experience with chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during treatments
Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines .

Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of patient safety
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, fostering a comfortable environment
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance in all aspects of medical documentation
