Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental practice. Prior experience with dental software and procedures is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies
Take and develop dental radiographs
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout visit
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety protocols
Support patients with medical terminology explanations and post-treatment instructions
Requirements
Prior experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred
Familiarity with endodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is a plus
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for scheduling needs
HARP certification is mandatory
