Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies for patient procedures
Assist dentists during various treatments, including exams, restorations, surgeries, root canals etc
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software
Available to work on Saturdays is an asset
Skills
Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
Familiarity with dental practice management software
Experience working with orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of sterilization protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures
