Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and care.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Utilize appropriate dental tools and techniques to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records using Power Practice software.
Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient concerns or questions promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with Power Practice or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Background in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
