Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist and make a meaningful impact on patients’ oral health and confidence! Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to ensure lasting results.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and updating dental records using Dentrix or similar practice management software.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized treatment area following infection control standards and OSHA regulations.
Support patient comfort by explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with Dentrix or similar software.
Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
Prior experience in a busy dental practice combined with a proactive attitude toward patient care.
