Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care, ensuring that every visit is comfortable and informative.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient treatment plans and progress in the Abledent software system
Assist in managing patient records and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience
A Dental Hygiene license from an accredited program is required.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Experience working with adult/pediatric patients.
New grads welcome!
Hours:
Saturdays 1-2 per month 9am - 5pm
1 evening during the week 12pm -8pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.25-$45.00 per hour
