Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Our office is located in SW Portland where you would be part of a single doctor office. We are searching for a great hygienist who can provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Duties
Perform prophylaxis and scaling and root planning.
Dental Radiology proficient and certified
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and periodontal care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using an electronic health records (EHR) system
Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic technique and infection control measures, to ensure patient safety
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Valid Dental Radiology License
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
This is the perfect position for a dental hygienist wanting part time - we currently need Monday and Thursday from 8am-5pm. We take lunch from 1-2pm. We have a team of 4 hygienists who will work alongside you in caring for our great group of patients.
Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
