Job Description
PART TIME POSITION- Either Thursdays or Fridays with room to grow
STATE OF THE ART PERIODONTAL OFFICE
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records- Dentrix Ascend
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans for patients
Skills:
- Valid dental hygiene license in VA
- Proficiency in using dental software systems - Dentrix Ascend
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
