Part-time Dental Hygienist

Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Conduct oral cancer screenings

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health instructions

- Administer local anesthesia

- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other similar systems

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:

- Valid state dental hygiene license

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other similar systems

- Knowledge of medical coding systems related to dental procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Note: Experience with Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other similar systems is required for this position. Medical coding knowledge is also preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $56.00 per hour
