Part-time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in diagnosing periodontal conditions, educating patients on periodontal health, and delivering high-quality preventive care. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient education and committed to excellence in clinical care.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and accurately diagnose periodontal conditions
Develop and present periodontal treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist
Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care techniques, and long-term maintenance
Apply preventive treatments including fluoride and dental sealants
Take and interpret dental radiographs
Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
Create a positive and comfortable patient experience
Qualifications
Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license
Proficiency in diagnosing and educating patients on periodontal disease
Experience with sealants and preventive treatments
Strong communication and patient education skills
Detail-oriented with excellent clinical judgment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
