Part-Time Dental Hygienist (Mondays, Sedro-Woolley)

Privately owned dental office seeking a skilled dental hygienist to join us on Mondays, with the possibility of adding more days if desired.

We are a busy, welcoming clinic in the charming town of Sedro-Woolley, dedicated to putting patients first. Our mission is to keep them happy and well-informed about their care and oral health. We seek someone who shares our passion for outstanding patient care and friendliness. We offer a flexible schedule designed to accommodate the hygienist’s needs.

Training provided includes HIPAA, OSHA, CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification. The office features OpenDental software, digital X-rays and computers for each staff member. The team fosters a supportive environment with no sales pressure, a low-stress and enjoyable atmosphere, collaborative treatment planning with the dentist. lunch break from 1–2 pm, flexible hours from 9 am to 5 pm, and one-hour appointment slots, the hygienist set their schedule. Minimal management pressure ensures focus on quality work and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities encompass the usual oral health assessments, professional cleanings, preventive treatments, diagnostic procedures, patient education, periodontal care, screenings, record keeping, patient management, and infection control.

Qualifications: active license as a dental hygienist, proficiency in dental care, patient education, and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality. Experience with EMR/EHR systems, preferably OpenDental, and periodontal maintenance, perform medical history reviews, and upholding infection prevention standards is essential. Excellent patient interaction skills, and documentation skills are required, comfortable doing dental x-rays and the ability to take BP's
