Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our wonderful team at The Little Tooth Company with offices in Southington and Waterbury. Our office is a state of the art pediatric dental practice that prides itself on quality dentistry provided in a fun and relaxed environment. We practice conservative dentistry with an emphasis on prevention while providing the most positive patient experience possible. We have fantastic patients/parents in our practice and it's largely due to our incredible staff.
We're currently looking for someone to work in our Southington office on Fridays from 8am-1pm
* However, there is also plenty of opportunity to pick up additional days/hours for upcoming maternity leave coverages, and summertime vacation coverage, as well as the potential for additional permanent days in the future if desired.
New grads welcome! Salary dependent on experience

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history.
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software for scheduling and patient documentation.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for pediatric patients.
Qualifications (including but not limited to)
Valid dental hygienist license and certification
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental record documentation
Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
