Part-time Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
Sahara Dental is looking for a friendly, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

We are a modern, family-oriented dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Schedule
Tuesdays: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
One Saturday per month
Opportunity for additional hours in the future as our practice continues to grow.

Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth and removing plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records .

Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Skills
Proficiency in Tracker or similar dental management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
minimum 1 year experience .

Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for patients
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about oral health practices

Pay: $56.00-$62.00 per hour
