Part-time Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.

Manage dental instruments and maintain a sterile environment.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Eaglesoft.

Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control procedures, to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Requirements
Valid Dental Hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.

Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry preferred.

Proficiency with Eaglesoft.

Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and medical imaging techniques.

Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Excellent communication skills for client education and team collaboration.

Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement, patient assessment, and documentation review.

Familiarity with infection prevention management, aseptic techniques, and healthcare infection control standards.

Pay: $43.00 - $51.00 per hour
