Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist and be the welcoming face of our practice! In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will help coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and support our clinical team to deliver exceptional dental care. Shifts:
Minimum requirement 2 days per week, and available 8 hours in the day between 9AM and 8PM
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and provide excellent customer service
Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately at the front desk
Maintain organized electronic medical records and ensure all patient documentation is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and handling correspondence related to patient care
Support clinical staff by preparing treatment rooms and managing patient flow efficiently throughout the day
Experience
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is essential
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
Experience handling multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations in a busy office environment
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, and insurance providers
