Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental services, ensuring high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures while working flexible hours that fit your schedule.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental treatments including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics.
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop effective treatment plans aligned with healthcare diagnosis standards.
Utilize dental terminology accurately while documenting medical records and dental fabrication procedures in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Ensure infection control through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
Use dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, record keeping, and treatment documentation.
Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding.
Assist in dental imaging procedures and interpret results to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.
Proficiency with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant procedures is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques.
Strong client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Prior experience adhering to HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
