Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dentist to join our dental practice on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various dental specialties, including general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while helping expand access to quality dental care during our weekend hours.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow within the dental office.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
A commitment to providing compassionate care in a patient-centered environment.
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry or specialized fields is a plus.
Bilingualism is a plus
