Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The position is focused on hygiene procedure and restorative procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality dental services in a dental hygiene environment in a supportive environment, emphasizing patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence. The Part-Time dentist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide and recommend exceptional dental treatments while adhering to all regulatory standards. There is room for growth and future associatship.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Deliver dental hygiene services such as prophy, scaling and root planing. And also on occasions deliver other dental procedures as necessary.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and adult patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all treatments are documented thoroughly in accordance with legal and professional standards.
Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology during procedures to optimize patient outcomes and safety.
Experience
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical records management.
