Part time front desk

We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our periodontal and implant practice in Denville, NJ. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy dental office.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, plus one Saturday per month
Starting Pay: $25/hour, with compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answering phones and communicating with patients
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility
Presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
Collecting patient payments and maintaining accurate account information
Coordinating insurance claims, billing, and patient balances
Maintaining an organized and efficient schedule
Communicating with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Following up with patients regarding treatment and unscheduled appointments
Qualifications
Prior dental front desk experience is required
Experience with dental insurance verification and benefits
Familiarity with dental terminology and treatment planning
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments
Experience with dental practice-management software preferred
Dentrix experience is a plus
Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
