Part Time Front Desk Receptionist

At OMSA of New Mexico, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both our patients and team members.

As an oral surgery practice, we perform a variety of procedures involving the mouth, teeth, jaw, and face. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to help provide an excellent experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for a schedule that can accommodate other commitments.

Daily Responsibilities
Welcome patients and create a warm, friendly atmosphere in the waiting area.

Check patients in and out and monitor the daily schedule to ensure accurate patient whereabouts.

Answer phone calls, check messages, and promptly return patient calls to schedule appointments.

Receive and document patient insurance information.

Maintain a clean and organized waiting room for a comfortable patient experience.

Complete insurance verification and billing tasks accurately and efficiently.

Assist the front office team with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental front desk or similar administrative role required.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to provide a friendly and professional patient experience.

Proficiency with office software and dental practice management systems.
