At the SLC Dental Specialty Institute, we are building more than just a clinical practice; we are developing a premier center for clinical excellence and future dental ownership. We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial Dental Associate to join our growing team. If you are passionate about high-quality patient care and have the vision to step into an ownership mentality, this is the perfect opportunity to build equity while you practice.
The Role
This is not a standard associate position. We are looking for a partner-in-training. As a key provider in our clinic, you will take true ownership of your patient base. You won't just be executing procedures; you will be the primary architect of your patients' oral health journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Treatment Planning: Evaluate patients and develop robust, multi-disciplinary treatment plans tailored to their long-term health and functional needs.
Patient Consultations & Case Presentation: Actively consult with patients, educating them on their options, answering questions, and confidently guiding them toward case acceptance.
Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality restorative, preventative, and specialized dental care in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.
Practice Growth: Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the clinic every day. Work collaboratively with management and staff to optimize clinical workflows, improve patient retention, and drive practice growth.
What We Are Looking For
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Licensure: Must hold an active Utah Dental License or be willing to obtain one prior to the start date.
The "Owner" Mindset: You are ambitious, business-minded, and self-motivated. You understand the mechanics of clinical production and want a stake in the success you help create.
Exceptional Communicator: You excel at chairside manner and have a proven ability to build trust and communicate complex clinical needs in an accessible way.
Compensation & Equity Structure
We believe that those who help build the practice should share in its ultimate value.
Production Pay: You will receive 40% of your total clinical collections.
Equity Holdback: To facilitate your path to ownership, 10% of that compensation will be held back and directly applied as equity in the practice, structurally vesting you as a partner over time.
Pay: From $1,000.00 per day
