Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. At Erskine Family Dentistry, we believe that our team members are a valued part of our practice. As a registered Dental Hygienist, you will be given the time and the tools to give excellent car to your patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing dental hygiene services in accordance with established protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Create a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan for your patients.
Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Establish long term relationships along with continuity of care.
Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
Active Registered Dental Hygienist in Indiana
Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in Dentrix software being a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
Radiograph Certification
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff while providing compassionate care.
