Part-Time Dental HygienistBoutique Dental Practice – Waco, TX
We are a boutique dental practice in Waco, TX committed to providing exceptional dentistry and an outstanding patient experience. We are looking for a skilled, warm, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team 1–2 days per week.
We believe great hygiene care is about taking care of people, not just teeth. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent clinical care, building genuine relationships with patients, and creating an experience that makes patients want to come back.
Our practice takes a comprehensive approach to periodontal health and utilizes modern technology, including laser for periodontal treatment, to provide advanced care for our patients.
What You’ll Do
Provide thorough preventive hygiene and periodontal care
Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and screenings
Identify and monitor gingivitis, periodontal disease, caries, and other oral conditions
Provide periodontal therapy and utilize laser for periodontal treatment as appropriate
Take necessary radiographs and intraoral photographs
Provide fluoride and other preventive treatments
Educate patients on personalized home care and periodontal health
Communicate findings and treatment recommendations with the doctor
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Follow excellent infection-control and sterilization protocols
Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming hygiene environment
Patient Experience

Has a gentle, confident, and caring chairside manner
Makes patients feel comfortable and valued
Educates rather than lectures
Takes pride in delivering a high level of care
Understands that exceptional hygiene is about people, not just teeth
Qualifications
Current Texas Dental Hygienist license
Previous dental hygiene experience
Strong periodontal assessment and clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, polished, and dependable
Detail-oriented and organized
Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative team member
Experience with laser periodontal treatment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
