Job description:
We are a thriving pediatric dental practice, Sparkles Dentistry for Children, located in Montclair, NJ, looking to add a talented Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Dentist. We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and experienced pediatric dentist who enjoys working with children. We have an excellent following of long-term patients and prioritize high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be supported by an excellent team who contribute to a great working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide preventive and restorative pediatric dental care
- Perform pediatric dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and other treatments within the scope of the practice
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding treatment plans and patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program
- Valid New Jersey dental license and Pediatric Dentistry specialty permit, or eligibility to obtain required permit
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Dentistry preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous pediatric dentistry experience preferred; new pediatric dentistry graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
